FIRST INDIA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Is faithful to Gods calling as a gathered and scattered church of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to provide an atmosphere of love and hope to all who come seeking Gods presence in this nurturing community. We are an ethnic congregation of Indian origin, who serve and worship the true and living God. We are community of people of all ages growing in love for God and one another. Our services are traditional in nature, but the language and the forms are Indian.

WORSHIP OPPERTUNITIES
We gather together as people of God sharing our joys in praising God, and opportunities to express our concern for others and also to express our common belief. We encourage active participation in praise, acts of confession, proclaiming Gods word and committing ourselves to serve God. As worship is the center of our communal life, we share acts of baptism, receive new members, and break bread. Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Sunday School is aimed at developing a strong Christian foundation for spiritual growth in children by our dedicated teachers and musicians. Children attend first part of the worship service and leave for Sunday School classes immediately following the children's time. The selected teachings and activities contribute towards spiritual growth of our children. The lessons are chosen according to the age and growing abilities of children. On special occasions, children are given an opportunity to present themselves in the church worship service with inspirational songs and skits.

YOUTH PROGRAM:
The youth ministry includes children from twelve years of age. The youth coordinator organizes programs and activities like, retreats and camp trips.
